Women's History Month Student Contest Winners

Fayetteville State University students were invited to submit poems, short stories, or nonfiction essays on the theme of women and history (or "her story," to borrow a phrase from Virginia Hamilton). Submissions were to explore the collective experiences of historical figures and/or the individual experiences of female family members. Here we present the winners of this writing contest in all categories on behalf of the FSU Dept. of English and Foreign Languages.
